Moorefield, WV & Ramps

Image
I spent the weekend with my family in good ol Moorefield & Petersburg, WV. Although I do not go here often nor see my family often it is nice to see them and watch how they have changed over the past year. We attened the Spring Mountain Festival in Petersburg, WV and then I went to a Ramp Dinner with my best friend from high school, Gail. Overall it was a blast learning new things and catching up on the old. I tell you, friends have better memories than we ever do! My Dad & Jackie sucking their thumbs! May Day

With May around the corner, it brings to me the realization that life truly is a blessing. I hot tubbed with a dear friend of mine, Steffanie this evening. It was great and I realized how important it is to have people...I just wanted to say thank you to my people. Mary

Jim Duke's Garden

Image
One of my favorite parts at Tai Sophia is going to Jim Duke's Green Farmacy....His garden is amazing in size, variety, and beauty. It is an herbalist's dream world. The best part is watching Dr. Duke eat everything we are told we are not supposed to. The Notorious Jim Duke Ramps..mmmmmmm Eleuthero Jim speaking about Fiddle Head Ferns
